Ben Shideler is a professional engineer and has been in the construction industry for over 10 years. He trained as a manufacturing engineer from the University of Calgary where he was introduced to the concepts of Lean. For many years he has been focused on productivity, optimization and efficiency. In 2018, Ben received his CM-Lean designation from the AGC and has been involved in the Lean CoP in Calgary since 2017. He has been a project manager and has received his Gold Seal in Project Management and is now a quality manager for a national contractor. With Ben’s unique mix of education and experience he can navigate the discussion of Lean principles with a construction first mindset and to help keep the discussion focused on what the value is for our clients that we are constructing for.
